A Child's University is a wonderful preschool full of kind and engaging teachers! My daughter attended the school for 2 years and her experience was wonderful. There was also excellent communication from her teachers and the director and the curriculum did a great job preparing her to start Kindergarten. I would recommend ACU without hesitation.

A Child’s University went above and beyond meeting our expectations. It is a wonderful, inclusive community and follows a great curriculum. It is the cleanest daycare/early education facility that we have come across, and with a little one that always gets sick this was important to us. All staff are always warm, welcoming and kind. Although my son was only able to be there for one year and only attended one of the classrooms, all staff members knew him and always greeted him by name. When we moved we were very sad to leave ACU and my son still talks about the school and his amazing teachers 5 months later. We would absolutely recommend ACU to any family looking for a safe, collaborative and welcoming environment for their little one.

My daughter started at A Child’s University in Cranston, RI when she was 3 months away from turning 3 years old. The teachers are just wonderful and well prepared. They are extremely caring and devoted to their profession. Every classroom offered the necessary opportunities and challenges so my daughter and other kids could thrive at their own pace. The camera system allowed me to see my daughter anytime I wanted to while in class, out in the yard, eating or taking a nap. All members of ACU from the director to the teachers kept parents involved and engaged. It was just a great experience having my daughter spent her first educational years there.

I can go on and on and honestly have absolutely nothing negative to say about this facility. We are so pleased our child was able to have such an amazing experience. Our child was enrolled at ACU for ~ 5.5 years and we could not have been happier with the care that they provided with such attention to detail. The teachers and lesson plans our wonderful and as a result our child become well-socialized, confident and ahead of most of her current classmates at her new school.

Both of my children attended A Child's University, and I cannot say enough great things about this school! The staff is top notch, the leadership in the school is incredibly strong and you can tell they foster an amazing work environment there. It truly is a community of educators, parents and students. The facility is state of the art, always clean and they are constantly updating the outside and indoor areas. Not only is the culture and facility amazing but the curriculum and education is incredible. They take their time to develop a thoughtful program and ensure that each age group has target benchmarks and attainable goals and provide a holistic education. My older son attended ACU during covid and fully learned to read in the first few months of kindergarten amongst so many challenges during that time. My younger son attends there now, and the entire staff has been so incredible and patient with him day after day. I would highly recommend ACU to any parents looking for a school!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience my children have had at A Child’s University (ACU). My daughter attended ACU from the age of 1 and graduated from their wonderful kindergarten program, while my son enjoyed the nurturing environment from age 10 months to age 4.
From the very beginning, ACU felt like a second home for my daughter. The supportive and engaging atmosphere allowed her to flourish as she grew from a curious toddler into a confident kindergarten graduate. ACU provides an excellent experience for early childhood development. Our daughter attended ACU’s 2 year program, consisting of Pre-K and Kindergarten and without a doubt was confident and well prepared to start her enrollment as a first grader. ACU’s curriculum and staff are top notch, providing detailed weekly outlines, along with daily reports on your child. Communication was easy with all teachers and administrators. Overall, very happy with the experience we had at ACU. They are more than a school, they are family.

My child has been going to ACU since she was 6 weeks. I can’t say anything but praises about this school! I know that she is actually learning each day and not just being “watched” while I work. Everyday I hear something new from her and I know it is because of her teachers here! Everyone who meets her states how advanced she is, how well spoken she is for her age, and they are always impressed with her vocabulary! The tadpole app keeps me updated with everything going on through the day and they also upload pictures too. A major plus is that they give parents live access to the cameras in their child’s classroom, so I can peek in and see how she’s doing myself from time to time! Staff are always warm and welcoming, as well as communicative. When I drop my child off each day I know she is safe, loved, taught, and cared for here!

One of the best testaments I can give is that we moved to Barrington and still kept our younger child enrolled through kindergarten because we loved the school so much. A Child’s University (Cranston) is a gem among daycare/learning centers in Rhode Island. Children from 6 weeks old to Kindergarten receive love, care, and education that makes me wish for ACU to expand and cater to higher grades. These are the formative years for a child and knowing they have a strong base of, and for, learning with teachers who are passionate about their craft leaves me, as a parent, secure in the knowledge that my child(ren) are in the best hands. What I love about ACU is that they hear the parents. I value collaboration and when asked to emulate learning or actions taken at home, the teachers will not only accept, but continue the discussion and find out the “why” so that there is better understanding, as well as provide insights to better your relationship with your child(ren). If you’re looking for a space for your child to grow, and not just be taken care of, I recommend you contact ACU to begin the relationship for an experience of, literally, a lifetime.

I have had two children who went to A Childs University! Both from babies, six months through kindergarten! They had a wonderful experience! I have a third child who will be entering in the seedlings classroom in a few months! There is no where else I would leave my children! The teachers are phenomenal and the education is exceptional! Kelli, the Director is attentive, and spends time in all of the classrooms, providing support and recognition to the teachers! You can tell everyone loves their job! I would never send my children anywhere else!

My daughter attended A Child's University from the time she was 3 months old until she was 5. I could not have asked for a better education or loving environment for her to grow. I was so nervous to leave her and go back to work, however the director and the teachers made it a much easier transition. I felt very included when they reviewed her day with me at pick up quickly or in the reports that are generated daily with updates. I also had the ability to log in to the cameras remotely to check on her any time I would have liked. The classroom environment helped with her transition to elementary school and made it so easy. She was so advanced that we decided to enroll her in private school, where she continues to thrive. She is currently in 2nd grade and reading at a 6th grade level. She still asks often about her classroom teachers, Ms. Lia and Ms. Heather. ACU became part of our extended family. I recommend this facility to everyone I know!
