A Nationally Accredited, Award-Winning Early Childhood School For Children From Birth to Kindergarten

Teacher To Child Ratio

The key to offering the very best experience for each child who attends our early learning school is our commitment to providing a teacher to child ratio that surpasses state and national requirements. This means that each child receives more of the one-on-one attention that he or she needs and that our teachers are able to focus on providing the highest quality learning environment each and every day. Our Team Member base also includes a vast substitute teacher list and additional Team Members who can lend support to classrooms throughout the day.

The teacher to child ratio is perhaps one of the most important questions on every parent’s mind. This is because the quality of an early childhood education program is heavily dependent on the staffing model designed for each classroom. At A Child’s University, the teacher to child ratio we follow is one of our core offerings to a child and their family. We have an abundance of Team Members ranging from management members to substitute teachers.

The adjacent page is an in-depth look into how we staff each classroom and how our staffing model exceeds the State of Rhode Island requirements. We also have a vast substitute teacher list so we can call in trained, experienced substitute teachers whenever a regular teacher is absent. This keeps our classrooms operating at optimal levels, prevents present teachers from feeling overburdened, and ensures that children receive the one-on-one interaction that is essential for their growth and development.
